QA ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, design and develop test plans, test cases and execution scripts  

• Proactive in identifying potential risks, defects and edge cases  

• Analyse user stories/requirements from existing system design/behaviours, providing clear and concise feedback  

• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)  

• Apply quality assurance principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle  

• Ability to detect and track software defects and inconsistencies  

• Strong diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills with specific attention to quality and detail  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work closely with the developers  

• Comfortable reviewing and diagnosing bugs and/or customer support  

• (Desirable) Ability to design and develop automation scripts when needed   

Requirements 

• 5+ years or more of experience working as a QA engineer or test engineer, preferably in Healthcare IT software testing  

• Highly experienced in developing Testing deliverables such as Test strategies, Test plans, Test cases, Test scenarios, Regression suites, Test data, Test results and Traceability matrices    

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes  

• Experience with both white box and black box testing  

• Ability to work within a fast-paced team, high pressure and Agile delivery environment  

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD  

• Experience in developing SQL queries and scripting  

• Experience with Jira, Postman  

• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus  

• Strong communication, management skills and tenacious with the ability to build key relationships with a range of stakeholders across all levels of seniority and vendors
