About This Role
Reporting to the Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business architectures, technical architectures and designs. You are a key resource with outstanding healthcare business acumen being able to translate business ideas and requirements into effective technical solutions to meet our broader client’s needs.
In this role you will perform architectural reviews of business cases, solution implementation strategies and solution architecture specifications. You must be able to liaise with various stakeholders across all levels of seniority and communicate (written and verbal) at both technical and business levels. You will partner with stakeholders and our software engineers to develop strategic working relationships ensuring solutions are align to the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading an inception of business ideas through to a working software prototype and project delivery

Develop cost estimates, technical document specifications for solution architectures and designs

Continuously being innovative and adopt strategic thinking in meeting our client’s needs

The identity of our company in advocating and promoting our architecture services and standards

Identify solution architecture resource requirements according to the company’s portfolio pipeline of work
Requirements
The following qualifications and experience would be highly regarded:
-
Professional and tertiary level qualifications in ICT, system engineering and solution architecture or similar

10 years+ experience in solution architecture and subject matter expert in the Healthcare industry is an advantage

Knowledge of Healthcare standards including HL7, SNOMED-CT, NEHTA / ADHA Standards and FHIR
-
Experience in SQL Server and Oracle databases, SQL programming, Unix Shell scripting, CDA/HL7 Interfaces and Integration, Java, Web Services, XML and PKI infrastructure

Knowledge of API integrations

Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite including Visio and Power Point

Strong relationships and stakeholder liaison skills
