About This Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop our pipeline of new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and working closely with our clients and the product development team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Reporting to, and supported by our Principal Consultant, you will also work with our Account Managers to manage new and existing clients relationships. You will play a key role in identifying new leads/sales opportunities, securing those opportunities and nurturing close working partnerships with the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working independently to build, manage and grow existing and new accounts

  • Develop new sales strategies to drive the business forward and increase market share

  • Experience engaging with C-level stakeholders at the business and technology level

  • Develop a sound understanding of the Healthcare IT business to identify product and service opportunities

  • Provide meaningful reports & data analysis and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to be able to upsell and cross-sell to clients

  • Exceed targets and KPI’s with target focus, sales-oriented approach

  • Demonstrable strong work ethic and has an internal motivation to succeed


  • 5+ years of previous experience as Business Development Manager (Healthcare IT experience is highly preferred)

  • Proven experience with the development of sales strategies and meeting sales targets

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and demonstrated experience of building strong customer relationships

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Excellent people leadership skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related field
